Karina Hutchison

Karina is a Clinical Arts Therapist with a wide-ranging background, including project management, human services, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and agriculture. She specializes in trauma treatment, cultural awareness, narrative therapy, mediation, addiction studies, and conflict resolution.

Currently, Karina serves as the Remote Programs Manager for Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa, overseeing hundreds of rangers in the Martu desert. Her talent for capacity-building and driving meaningful change is pivotal in this role.

She is also engaged in the Project Ceram initiative in Indonesia, focusing on language revival and cultural preservation to foster sustainable and resilient communities. Karina emphasizes the importance of safeguarding cultural heritage for healthy societies.

Throughout her career, Karina has been dedicated to empowering individuals and communities for a more just and equitable world, where everyone has access to resources and opportunities. Her unwavering passion for positive change reflects her resilience and determination.
